E-commerce plays a major role in European socio-economic growth, and is now a fundamental part of the way people and companies buy products, services and do business. Yet, its full potential still remains unfulfilled.
The realisation of its potential in Europe will only be achieved once existing barriers, both crossborder and within member states are removed. This conference looked at what the current ecommerce landscape looks like in Europe, how it is expected to develop, and what key opportunities are emerging for all players of the sectors – including SMEs – to address the existing challenges.
Speakers include
Economic Affairs Officer, ICT Policy Section, Science, Technology and ICT Branch, Division on Technology and Logistics
UNCTAD
