Pre-Conference Workshop
Spectrum auction design and bid strategy
Presented & co-ordinated by Computech
This interactive & practical 1-day workshop took place on 18th October, the day before the main conference. It offered participants the opportunity to participate in a number of different auction formats, and explore the impact of design decisions on bidder behaviour and auction outcomes.
Using recent real-world examples as case studies, the workshop provided an overview of recent auction formats, rules and concepts, before participants had the opportunity to use the Computech Auction Platform (CAP) to take part in a mock auction themselves.
