Thank you to everyone who attended The 2nd Annual European E-Commerce Conference, hosted by EMOTA and EDiMA. Taking place on the 2nd December at the Crowne Plaza - La Palace, the event brought together over 200 delegates for an interactive debate on the policy and business dimensions impacting upon e-commerce.

 

Context

The Internet has grown to become central to the global economic system and the platforms, channels and media which have emerged and that facilitate trade and retail activities online have delivered greater consumer choice, contributed to job creation and have allowed individuals, SMEs and large multinationals to create and innovate in new ways.

 

The conference focussed on the most pertinent issues for the e-Commerce industry including consumer trust, e-payment solutions, the logistics behind e-business, multi-channel sales, digital content and m-commerce. Key speakers included representatives from the European Commission, EU Parliament, innovative European e-commerce players and providers to the e-Commerce sector.

 

This conference was hosted by The European Digital Media Association (EDiMA) and The European E-Commerce and Mail Order Trade Association (EMOTA). It was organised by Forum Europe.
