Details of the 2013 Event
Bringing together over 250 delegates, The 2013 European Cloud Computing Conference provided a platform to hear from the key policymakers and stakeholders involved in this field. The conference discussed the opportunities offered by the technology and examine the necessary steps to be undertaken so that Europe can fully take advantage of the benefits provided by the Cloud while continuing to protect European businesses and citizens interest.
The conference assessed the plans outlined in the European Cloud Computing Strategy, analysed the barriers to a successful implementation of the proposed measures, and finally looked into various solutions to overcome the remaining challenges to maximize the potential of Cloud Computing in Europe.
Participants included representatives of the EU and national governments, along with stakeholders from the telecom sector, and several member of the Press.
