Practical Information
Event Venue
The opening demonstrations and the lunch will take place on the Esplanade in front of the European Parliament in Brussels (Place Luxembourg entrance). The debate and the launch of the Netherlands Cycling Embassy will take place in the Netherlands Embassy, Brussels. Please view the Programme of Events tab above for more information.
Hotel Accommodation
Delegates who attend this event will receive a special discounted rate for accommodation at a number of nearby hotels, and further information relating to this will be sent out once we have received your registration. We will always do our best to aid and support your search for accommodation in Brussels.
Registration
The exhibition taking place on the esplanade outside the European Parliament is open to all and there is no need to register. Spaces at the afternoon debate and launch of the Netherlands Cycling Embassy are limited and registration should be made online here. When registering there will also be the option to select whether you plan to join the morning activities at the European Parliament.
Languages
All presentations and discussions will be held in English. Unfortunately, there will not be any translation facilities available.
Electrical Appliances
The electric voltage in Belgium is the EU standard of 230V/50 Hz.
Belgian Entry Visas
Participants requiring a visa in order to enter Belgium are reminded that they must obtain the visa before travelling. Should you require an invitation letter to support your visa application then please contact us and we will do our best to assist you with this.
Please note that we will only be able to supply invitation letters to delegates who have registered and confirmed their participation at the event.
