Event Overview

6G MENA Summit 2026 will take place on 19 & 20 October in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, bringing together regional and global leaders to shape the future of next-generation connectivity.

Hosted in the UAE and organised in collaboration with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, Khalifa University and Forum Global, the event represents a significant milestone for the MENA's first 6G Summit.

The UAE has established itself as a global leader in advanced telecommunications, spectrum management, artificial intelligence and digital transformation. Building on this foundation, 6G MENA Summit 2026 will provide a strategic platform for the UAE and the wider region to contribute to the global dialogue shaping the technologies, standards, spectrum frameworks and policy priorities that will define the 6G era.

As the global 6G landscape moves from research and early concepts towards standardisation and future implementation, the MENA region is entering a critical phase. With some of the world's most advanced connectivity markets and ambitious digital economies, the region has an important opportunity not only to adopt the next generation of networks, but to actively influence their development.

Over two days, the summit will convene government leaders, regulators, policymakers, telecom operators, technology companies, international organisations, academia and the global research community to examine the priorities that will shape the transition towards 6G.

Discussions will address key areas including AI-native networks, spectrum and WRC-27 priorities, global standards and regulatory alignment, satellite and non-terrestrial network integration, security and resilience, sustainability, digital inclusion, and the pathway from 5G-Advanced towards 6G.

Through high-level keynotes, strategic panel discussions, fireside conversations, industry dialogues and technology showcases, 6G MENA Summit 2026 will reinforce the UAE's role as a regional convening hub for the future of connectivity while creating a lasting platform for collaboration between the MENA region and the global 6G ecosystem.
