This session will look at the roles that both policy and industry can play in identifying counterfeits on online marketplaces. It will also address how best to keep counterfeits out of ads, as well as looking at how trademark associations are working with online platforms to prevent online sales of fake goods and services. The session will also look at the recent work that the European Commission is doing to help address the problem of online counterfeiting.
