Summary

Artificial Intelligence is one of the most strategic technologies of the 21st century. Shaping the European and global public policy approach to AI will be central to the impact AI can have in delivering added business value, and on the many social and economic challenges Europe faces.

Forum Europe's AI conference will take place following a period of reflection on the European Commission's AI Initiative announced in April, and will come on the back of the high-level ministerial meeting in Finland on artificial intelligence, including a formal meeting of the European Artificial Intelligence Alliance expert group.

Themes for AI 2018 will include:

- Access, re-use and sharing of data to improve machine and deep learning

- Research and innovation, open development and cooperation between industry and the public sector

- Ethics, ethical design and legal frameworks

- Employment and digital skills

This event will look at how AI is being deployed across sectors and industries, to bring to life its applications and where it can have real impact. Discussions will be animated via panel debates, in conversation interviews, tech-talks and keynotes.

Further information will be released in due course. If you are interested in getting involved in this event, please contact Joe Rossiter on +44 (0) 2920 783 078 /  joe.rossiter@forum-europe.com

We look forward to welcoming you to the event in October.
