ITU Smart Cities and eGovernment forum

The Internet of Things Asia Summit 2016 will take place alongside ITU's 3rd Asia-Pacific Regional Forums on Smart Cities and e-Government at the IMPACT Exhibiton and Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand.

3rd Asia-Pacific Regional Forums on Smart Cities and e-Government event is jointly organized by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand (MDES), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the World e-Governments Organization of Cities and Local Governments (WeGO) in partnerships with the Australian Government and Forum Global. The forum is being held in conjunction with the Thailand Digital Big Bang 2017 organized by the MDES, the Government of Kingdom of Thailand, during 21-24 September 2017.

The forum convenes senior policy makers, industry and other stakeholders from the ICT sector to deliberate the opportunities and challenges of developing effective smart city strategies, digital policies, emerging trends, issues, and challenges of digital governments. High-level discussions expect ministers, city governors, mayors, heads of regulators, and senior government representatives.
